These are the local Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) covering the Northeast Ohio area. They are federally-mandated and federally-funded transportation policy-making organizations that are made up of representatives from local government and transportation authorities.

Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) - covering Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina counties

Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (AMATS) - covering Summit and Portage counties, plus part of Wayne County. Also, see their bike and pedestrian site at: switching-gears.org
