Western Reserve Greenway

Part of the Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway

The Western Reserve Greenway is a paved rail-trail, covering a 43-mile north-south route in Ashtabula and Trumbull counties. It is part of an eventual 100-mile route that is planned to connect Lake Erie to the Ohio River in Eastern Ohio.

Ashtabula County

The Ashtabula County section of the Western Reserve Greenway runs from the city of Ashtabula to the county line 26 miles south.

Trumbull County

The Trumbull County section of the Western Reserve Greenway is about 16.5 miles from the Ashtabula County line, south to the city of Warren. Maps to the trailheads are available on the Trumbull County Metroparks web site.
