Headwaters Trail

The Headwaters Trail, part of the Portage Park District, is a rail-trail that connects the communities of Mantua and Garrettsville. It is about seven miles long, and follows the old Erie Lackawanna Railroad corridor. The surface is flat and composed of crushed limestone.

The western trailhead is located in Mantua Village Park, just off State Route 44 in Mantua.

There is a middle trailhead on State Route 700, about two miles south of State Route 82.

The eastern trailhead is in Garrettsville Village Park on State Route 88, just south of the State Route 82 intersection.
