Donate Your Old Bicycle

Got an old bicycle you're looking to get rid of? We work with several local organizations that can keep old bikes out of the landfills and get folks in need on two wheels! We can accept your used bicycle(s) and pass them on to these groups. Acceptance policies may vary based on space and time constraints, so please call us first to check before bringing your old bikes in.

Medina

Mark Malikowski (pictured; right) is a teacher at Claggett Middle School in Medina. He collects old bicycles, and with the help of other volunteers at the school, fixes them up to get them into safe riding condition. The bikes can be used by students during recess as an alternative to the traditonal activities like kickball, basketball, etc. In some cases, donated bikes are given to local families in need to use for the Medina Bike To School Challenge.

Peninsula

"Cycles for Christ" is a program of the Hudson Presbyterian Church. Used bicycles are refurbished by volunteers and donated to local families in need.

The photos below are from when they picked up our leftover old bike rental fleet in December of 2022!

Rocky River

We save donated used bicycles for collection by the Village Bicycle Cooperative in Bay Village, Ohio. Their mission is to offer a bicycle education-based workspace and advocate for bicycling to foster a healthier, safer, and more sustainable community.
