Bike To School Challenge

The biggest bike-to-school program in the nation!
The Century Cycles Bike To School Challenge is during the month of May, with events in Bay Village, Rocky River, and Medina. Over 7,200 students at thirteen local schools take the challenge. Using daily bike counts to gauge participation, the students are gearing up to compete for prizes provided by our generous sponsors!
In 1969, over 50% of students biked or walked to school. Today, the national average is less than 15%, or less than 5% in some schools. We hope to reverse this trend and promote healthy, active lifestyle choices for our young people.
Follow Bike To School Challenge on Facebook or Twitter for daily updates!
PLEASE NOTE: During the current health crisis, all Bike To School Challenge activities are POSTPONED. If schools are in session during May 2020, we will celebrate with an abbreviated Bike To School Challenge event. Stay tuned!
